Are they related??????

Career Searching.

My daughter the Architect.
Earlier today she said that she she was a girl Doctor Graham.
What career will she attempt tomorrow?

Trust Me... I can do this !

Some time over the past couple of days my baby started saying "Trust me I can do this..." just before she does something dangerous like jumping off a chair. I am noting another mile stone.

First Day on a Busch Gardens Ride

We have been to Busch Gardens 2 times since Kara has been born, but Friday was the first time she has been on a ride or had the opportunity to really enjoy the park. Friday, all the other parents were looking at us as we acted like new proud parents. It was so obvious as she was riding the hot air balloon ride that this was our first time that our little girl was doing something so big without us sitting right next to her. I thought for sure that she was going to cry for us and maybe even try to get off the ride. Boy, was I wrong. She got on the rides as though it was her tenth time riding them. What next... or maybe I will find out soon enough.

Kara's BIG Announcement

And now it begins....

Party at Rex's (3 year celebration)

Yesterday Kara and I went to Rex's 3rd year birthday party. Rex's mom always has the best parties. Once again, Kara had loads of fun. She really likes Spiderman and that was the theme of Rex's party, so Kara brought home a great Spiderman goodie bag! She has been playing with all her goodies ever since we got back from the party.
Earlier this year Kara started jumping in the moon bounces at community functions, so once she saw that Rex had a moon bounce at his party that was all she wanted to do. She got so exhausted that she fell asleep as soon as we got into the van. She even slept for 3 more hours after we got home.
A noted first for Kara... she played on a sit-n-spin for the very first time. She saw it sitting in Rex's kitchen and looked it over for a while before looking at me with a curious expression on her face. I briefly explained it to her and she jumped on and started spinning.

You know you are in for a surprise when...

Kenny picked up Kara from school, called me to say that he had a headache and for me to pick up Chick-Fil-A for dinner. When I arrived home I was greeted in the garage with: "Honey... ummm... remember when Kara asked for a haircut? Well, ummm. She did it...." He had me believing that she had cut all of her hair off. Kara came out of the house crying. Her hair was a mess, but it was standing out from being in a ponytail. She only cut one handful of hair off, thank goodness. And for the yellow stuff on her mouth, well she got hungry and chewed on a highlighter. She must have been going through an adventurous spell, because those are not the only things that she did in the hour before Mom got home.
