First Day

I am on a lunch break at work, so this will be short.
June was a very rough month. My Mom had open heart surgery the first week and my Grandma Faye died the third week. We are still trying to recover from all the stress and sadness. Kara attended the funeral and said that Grandma looked "like sleeping beauty". I still cannot believe that we will not be getting together at my Grandmothers house any more.
My Mom is recovering nicely from her heart surgery. I cannot imagine having heart surgery and then having to deal with her Mom's death.
